Electric heating & hot water

Heat the rooms you are in, when you are in them

Old electric heating gives out its heat on its own schedule rather than yours. A storage heater charges overnight and has usually run out by the evening, so you pay for warmth in an empty house and reach for a plug-in heater when you actually want it.

A modern system reverses that. Our German-engineered electric radiators give every room its own schedule and its own temperature, so nothing is heated for the sake of it — which is where the saving genuinely comes from.

The app

Take control of your heating

Control all your electric radiators through our smartphone app. Linking each radiator individually lets you control room temperatures and energy usage — room by room.

Our German-engineered radiators work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant as well as the native app for your phone or tablet, so you have full control of your heating from anywhere in the world.

  • Control rooms individually

Control each electric radiator individually — you choose which rooms to heat, saving energy and money.

  • Track energy usage

Track the energy usage of each radiator from the app, and set power limits to help save energy.

  • Open window detection

Set your radiators to detect when a window is open, so heat is never poured out of one.

What to expect

Why customers choose us

We survey before we quote

Output is calculated per room from the dimensions, the glazing and the insulation. A number given over the phone is a guess, and guesses are why people end up cold in the room they use most.

We take the old system away

Removal and disposal of old storage heaters, convectors, boilers and cylinders is part of the job. You are not left with six of them in the garage.

Straight answers on running costs

Electricity costs more per unit than gas. We would rather show you honest numbers at survey than sell you a saving that never turns up on your bill.

Set up before we leave

Most of the saving is in the controls, and most of it is lost if nobody knows how to use them. We set the schedules up with you.

Planned properly, installed once

We handle the whole job — the survey, the specification, the removal and disposal of what was there, and the installation and handover of what replaces it.

If a property does not suit what you came to us for, we will say so. Recommending a heat pump for a building that cannot use one well helps nobody.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What can I replace my night storage heaters with?
Usually either modern electric radiators controlled room by room, or high heat retention storage heaters where your tariff still rewards off-peak charging. Which suits you depends on the tariff, the building and how you use the house — that is what the free survey establishes.
Which electric radiator is the most efficient?
Honestly, they are all essentially 100% efficient at the point of use — every unit of electricity becomes heat in the room. What varies between systems is control: whether you can heat only the rooms you are using, only when you are using them. That is where the saving comes from, not from any particular radiator.
Can I replace my gas boiler with electric heating?
Yes. We replace gas boilers and their radiator circuits with electric heating and hot water, which removes the flue, the gas connection and the annual gas safety inspection. Electricity costs more per unit than gas, so at survey we will be straight with you about running costs and about whether solar or battery storage changes the picture.
Do you remove and dispose of the old system?
Yes. Removal and disposal of old storage heaters, convector heaters, boilers and cylinders is part of the job, and we make good afterwards.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Bournemouth and work across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset and Devon, and into West Sussex, Surrey, London, Kent, East Sussex and Oxfordshire.
Are you certified?
Yes. Dynamic Heaters is MCS certified, NAPIT approved, RECC registered and an approved Sunamp installer.
Do you charge for a survey?
No. The home survey and the written recommendation that follows it are free and carry no obligation.
Do you work on social housing and commercial projects?
Yes. Alongside private homes we have completed social housing heating and hot water upgrades, including a New Forest District Council project covering sixteen properties, and community buildings such as a village hall in Lytchett Matravers.
